IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL VISITORS BY PARKWARE LTD

1.0 - General Terms & Conditions

1.1) Loudoun Castle will endeavour to ensure that as many rides and attractions as possible are available for use by visitors and management reserves the right to withdraw any of the facilities at any time without prior notice, refund or compensation, change the operational hours of the park or attractions, close the theme park or any part of it temporarily.

1.2) Visitors are also informed that attractions may be closed, temporarily withdrawn or otherwise unavailable at any time due to technical or operational reasons, power failure, capacity or inclement weather. The management are not obliged to refund monies for any of the above reasons.

1.3) Height restrictions apply to all rides.

1.4) Loudoun Castle accepts no responsibility for any loss and/or damage however arising (including that which might arise as a result of any breach of contract) including any distress, inconvenience or anxiety caused during the course of any ride undertaken and/or during evacuation from such a ride in the event of breakdown.

1.5) Due to ride height restrictions the wearing of 'heelies' or other inappropriate footwear is strictly prohibited. Ride operators reserve the right to have such footwear removed prior to guests being measured.

1.6) Visitors should ensure that their vehicles are locked and that no valuables are left unattended. Parkware LTD accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal effects, clothing or vehicles within the park boundaries.

1.7) The management reserves the right to refuse admission to any person(s).

1.8) Visitors to the park enter entirely at their own risk. Children are to be supervised by an adult at all times and adults must behave responsibly towards their children.

1.9) No child or children under the age of 12 will be admitted to the Theme Park unless they are accompanied by an adult of at least 18 years and over.

1.10) Anyone behaving in an intimidating, aggressive or abusive way towards any employee or guest will be ejected from the site immediately, with no refund.

1.11) The consumption of intoxicating liquors in the park is permitted only in the designated area of the Courtyard in accordance with the Licensing Act. Also, intoxicating liquor must not be taken into the theme park and any persons found to be in possession of alcohol, or who appear under the influence of alcohol will be refused admission or escorted from the park.

1.12) Visitors should read all signs and follow any directions given by park staff.

1.13) The climbing of or standing upon fences, barriers, walls and ride structures is strictly prohibited.

1.14) Additional charge applies to Go-Karts, games and photo booths.

1.15) Unnecessary noise (such as that from the use of radio sets and other electrical equipment), interference with Loudoun Castle's radio service or any behaviour likely to cause annoyance to other visitors or confusion of any kind is not permitted in any part of the Theme Park.

1.16) Occasionally Loudoun Castle or other authorised parties carry out photography and/or video recording in the Theme Park, which may feature visitors. By accepting these Regulations, you agree that Loudoun Castle or any authorised party may use such images in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever. You further agree that copyright in these materials rests with Loudoun Castle or such authorised party (as the case may be).

1.17) Visitors must not, for their own safety, enter the ruins – which have been fenced off.

1.18) No dogs other than guide dogs are allowed.

1.19) Organisers/Carers are relied upon to consider the suitability of Loudoun Castle and the rides and attractions and to provide adequate supervision for their clients/persons in their care.

1.20) Loudoun Castle reserves the right to refuse admission should patrons breach any Rules and Regulations of Loudoun Castle. Loudoun Castle may on occasions have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.

1.21) Loudoun Castle does not accept any responsibility for any personal property.

1.22) The above conditions apply to all visitors to the park and by entering the park, visitors are deemed to accept them.

 

2.0 - Online Ticketing Terms & Conditions

 

2.1) The photocopying or secondary printing of tickets is prohibited. Any unlawful attempted use of photocopied or re-printed tickets will result in the cancellation of all tickets related to this transaction and no refund will be due or payable. The credit/debit card that was used to purchase the ticket will be required to validate the ticket(s) at the main entrance.

2.2) When a Family ticket is presented, all members of the group must enter the Park at the same time. A family pass admits 2 adults and between 1 to 5 children under 16yrs. Or 1 adult and between 2 to 6 children under 16yrs. (Under 4yrs enter free of charge)

2.3) Tickets can only be used once. All tickets will be retained by our admissions staff.

2.4) Only children under 4 years of age are admitted free of charge. Additional tickets will be available to purchase at admissions if required.

2.5) Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, aged 18 or over at all times and children must be accompanied by an adult on some rides.

2.6) Tickets are only valid for the date in which they have been purchased for. Tickets not used by the day of visit will not be replaced under any circumstances.

2.7) Refunds may occasionally be offered at the discretion of the management.

2.8) Loudoun Castle reserves the right to transfer tickets to another date at any time.

2.9) Loudoun Castle will not have any further liability beyond the face value of the ticket purchased.

2.10) It is your responsibility to check your tickets; mistakes cannot always be rectified.

2.11) We will not be responsible for any tickets that are lost or stolen but such can be reissued.


3.0 - Season Ticket Terms & Conditions

 

3.1) Photographs will be taken on your first visit. Please ensure all members of your family are present. Failing this, photographs MUST be taken by the 2nd visit. (No exceptions will be made) Until photographs have been taken NO ENTRY will be allowed.

3.2) Season Passes are valid for 2010 season only. Please check opening dates and times before you visit.

3.3) A family season ticket admits 2 adults and between 1 to 4 children under 16yrs. Or 1 adult and between 2 to 5 children under 16yrs. (Under 4yrs enter free of charge)

3.4) Entry is only permitted for those named and photographed on the pass, with the exception of a child taking the place of another child or adult. Adults or children CANNOT be replaced by another adult.

3.5) Family season passes can only be used when at least one of the named adults is present. In the instance of a child (aged 12yrs or over) wishing to frequent the park on a regular basis on their own, a single season pass must be purchased.

3.6) Lost season passes must be reported immediately and only one replacement pass will be issued free of charge. Please note any replacement passes required thereafter will incur a £10.00 administration fee.

3.7) Season passes are non-transferable and cannot be sold, loaned or given away to, or used by a third party.

3.8) Photocopies of the season passes will not be accepted.

3.9) Entry may be denied in the event of fraud or misuse of the pass, this could also result in the pass being withdrawn without return and in the avoidance of doubt without refund.

3.10) Season passes can also be withdrawn from any person whose conduct within the park boundaries is deemed to be inappropriate or in breach of Health & Safety and again without refund.

3.11) Failure to present a valid season pass will result in the person(s) being charged standard admission prices for entry, which will be non-refundable.

3.12) By using a Loudoun Season Ticket you agree to adhere to park regulations currently in force at Loudoun Castle Theme Park.
