Working at Loudoun Castle offers a pleasant and exciting working environment, a uniform is provided and full training is given prior to commencing work. We welcome applications from people of all ages and from those looking for part time hours. (Minimum age of 16) We are looking for applicants with the skills listed above.
The positions we offer are all on a seasonal basis, check our opening times. We ask that you be able to work a minimum of 50 days during the season. All applicants need to successfully complete our Induction Day and any job offer is subject to satisfactory references and, where appropriate, a CRB check.

Operating or assisting on one of our many rides on the Park, you will work as part of a large team. You will enjoy meeting people and working outdoors in all weathers and understand the importance of following strict procedures. Due to H & S regulations there are only a limited number of positions available for applicants still at school. |
Duties include feeding animals, mucking out, keeping farm area clean and tidy, interacting with visitors and answering questions. You must have excellent Customer Care skills. Previous experience of working with animals is essential. Clean and current driving licence and First Aid Certificate an advantage. This position involves an 8am start. |
Duties include admitting visitors to the park, answering visitor enquiries and attending to group visits. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Applicants must be able to work under pressure and have excellent Customer Care skills. First Aid Certificate an advantage. |
Duties include Live Shows, Character Performing, Dance Routines, Presenting, Face Painting and Balloon Modelling. Applicants must have previous experience in these areas, be outgoing, friendly and have a fun-loving personality. Excellent Customer Care skills are essential. First Aid Certificate an advantage. |
Duties include all general cleaning duties, emptying of bins, litter picking and maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the park. Applicants must have excellent Customer Care skills.
